Sunny Hostin Plastic Surgery: What Kind of Surgery Did She Do to Change Her Appearance?

Sunny Hostin Plastic Surgery

Sunny Hostin talked openly about the surgeries she had to change how she looked. She said she had surgery to make her breasts smaller and lifted them. She also had liposuction, which is a surgery to remove fat on her waist and chin.

Sunny, who is 55, mentioned in an interview with People. Sunny explained that she decided to have these surgeries last summer because she was having back pain and didn’t feel good about her body.

“I thought I would feel shame, like, ‘Oh my God, I’m doing plastic surgery like all these crazy celebrities,“I feel like a better version of myself,” she said. “It was a health decision and a self-care decision.”

She tells People. “And I hope sharing my story will help more people. If they’re feeling so body-conscious, the way I was — they can do what they need to do to feel better.”

Hostin shared that she started feeling uncomfortable about her body when she was young because her waist was small, but her chest was big—having children made her breasts even bigger.

When she joined The View in 2016, she often used special tape and sports bras to make her chest look smaller. However, she still had back pain and had trouble fitting into dresses for events in New York. So, she chose to have surgery to fix it.

The lawyer mentioned that she recovered quickly because she had a nurse to help her at home. She said she was walking around by the third day after surgery, back to work in two weeks, and doing Pilates in two months.

Just a few months after her surgeries, Hostin feels more confident. She wants to tell other women that it’s okay to change their bodies if they want to feel better about themselves. She doesn’t want anyone to feel ashamed about it.

“I look through magazines and Instagram accounts. I always believed, ‘Oh, they must be clean eating.’ No, they’re not — a lot of them are taking something, or they’re getting plastic surgery. It’s their decision to keep it private,” she shares. “But I wanted to be really honest. And I’m so happy.”
